Our current team members have been promoted out of the help desk role and we need to backfill with new junior network/system administrators.

Responsibilities

1. Active Directory updates

  • User Permissions
  • Distro Groups

2.Exchange Management

  • Creating a new user
  • Enable/Disable Active Sync
  • Auto Reply email setup

3. ShareFile

  • Setting up users
  • Allowing access to groups

4. LDW-Employee Term Checklist (Template in Excel)

  • Disable account/ Active Sync
  • Remove mobile partnerships
  • Reset password
  • Remove report subscriptions
  • Remove permissions and distro groups
  • Apply Auto-Reply email

5. Converting files to preferred formats

  • Default Program adjustments

6. Call Recording Audit

  • Open PDF check for 0%

7. IntelliAdmin

  • Shadowing/Controlling Sessions

8. User station equipment

  • Clean computer/phone equipment sweeps
  • Setting Up/Moving/Maintaining Inventory
  • Keyboards
  • Monitors
  • Cables/Adapters
  • Mice
  • Phones

9. VMware & Solar Winds

  • Monitor servers
  • Log into console
  • Restarting servers when down Etc. Server control needs

10. Terminal HUB

  • WYSE/DELL screen properties/settings and connections

11. Printing

  • Adding a printer
  • Setting up/Moving Printers
  • Assigning Printers
  • Print Driver Maintenance
  • Ordering toner / keep inventory
  • Replacing toner
  • Printer troubleshooting

12. HelpDesk Ticketing System

  • Picking Up/Assigning tickets
  • Solutions/Resolutions
  • Reply/Notifications
  • Closing tickets

13. Misc. Troubleshooting

  • OS & Computer/Phone equipment

14. Remote Connections

  • Remoting into a server
  • How to ping an IP
  • Troubleshooting a Remote Connection
About You:
  • Basic troubleshooting skills, understands the ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Windows server 2008 ‐2012 exposure
  • Windows Active Directory exposure
  • Exchange Server exposure
  • Understands basics of VMWare vSphere
  • Aware of Voice over IP technology
  • Firewall experience
